| Digital Video Production is designed as a lecture, lab, and hands-on format. Using the fundamentals of traditional film/video making, this course focuses on the complete digital video production process of documentary and short fiction, taking the concept of an idea to the execution of a project. Students will analyze film scenes and sequences as well as other elements of short fiction and documentary formats. Through a series of lectures, work shops, and production projects, students engage in all aspects of the creative process for digital video production. They acquire valuable experience in team work dynamics and techniques, technical skills, trouble shooting and problem solving techniques. This course is a group experience, depending highly on cooperation, communication, respect, and commitment to a team approach, projects, and classmates. (Recommend previous class in Fine Arts, Drama, or Digital Graphics.) |
