Gain an understanding and practical experience in the creation of video productions using EFP (electronics field production), and television studio techniques. Students will develop basic skills in camera techniques, audio production, directing, non-linear editing, script writing, lighting, set design and a variety of other skills required to create a finished video production. The course includes the history of video production through changes in equipment and production techniques. Students work in a variety of production positions over the course of the year on group projects. Interested students may also create a video project to enter in competition during the school year.
