| (Completion of Sports Therapy 1 with a grade of “C” or better is required.) This course will allow students to explore more in depth concepts introduced in Sports Therapy 1. Topics include advanced anatomy of the musculoskeletal system, advanced evaluation techniques, and therapeutic modalities. Additionally, students will learn how to design rehabilitation, fitness and nutritional programs for athletes. CPR training is included. Second semester students will receive on-the-job training at sports medicine facilities in the community. Students must provide their own transportation to the on-the-job training site. | |||
