This course prepares students for entry-level positions in the automotive technology industry. Students learn basic automotive theory, and preventive maintenance with an emphasis in the areas of brakes, steering and suspension, electrical systems, and engine performance. Students successfully completing the first year may enroll in a second year for advanced opportunities and industry certification.
