Culinary Arts 1, 2 (TIYA /TIYE)

Competency-based course geared to California Restaurant Association and American Culinary Federation to prepare students for entry level positions; Serve-Safe, basic culinary, knife skills, basic cooking techniques, meat classification, grilling, soups, appetizers and Hors d’oeuvres, Garde-Manager skills, pantry skills, soups, and plate presentation. Mission College Credit.
Introduction to Hospitality (TMTA)
Exploration of careers in several related industries including hospitality, culinary arts, travel, tourism, recreation and leisure industries. Introductory course for Culinary Arts.
Marketing 1, 2 DECA (TMMA, TMME)

Preparation for entry-level marketing positions or for further education leading to business careers. Internships may qualify for up to 20 units additional credit. DECA participation encouraged. Ohlone and Mission College credit.
Business Ownership and Management (TMSA)

Set up and operate a small business; business systems and functions, advertising, marketing, merchandising and technology. Effective selling, customer service, cashiering and loss prevention. Up to 20 units may be earned for approved work outside the classroom.
