CENTRAL CHEVROLET RECOGNIZED FOR INVOLEMENT
IN HIGH SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS

FREMONT, CA - (March 21, 2007) - Mission Valley ROP (MVROP) will honor Central Chevrolet at the MVROP Governing Council Meeting today at 3:30 PM for Central Chevrolet’s participation in the Automotive Youth Educational Systems (AYES) initiative.

The MVROP Governing Council members will recognize Bill Brunelli, owner of Central Chevrolet, by presenting him with the Certificate of Recognition plaque from the California State Assembly and the 2007 AYES plaque for their commitment and participation in the education and training of Mission Valley ROP students.

“Central Chevrolet has been a dedicated partner for our automotive tech programs,” said Superintendent Charles Brown.  “We commend Bill Brunelli for his support and commitment to provide internships and training for our students.”

“Our 425 high schools in 46 states provide not only a valuable education-to-career experience, but encourage all participating dealers to work with their local schools to enhance their communities,” said AYES President and CEO Larry Cummings.

To join AYES, Mission Valley ROP had to meet high standards, including certification of the automotive educational program by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), the independent organization that also certifies the skills of automotive technicians.  Mission Valley ROP was chosen because of its strong reputation in automotive technology education.
