IN VIDEO PRODUCTION, DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND GRAPHIC ARTS
FREMONT, CA – (April 11, 2008) – Mission Valley ROP (MVROP) is pleased to announce the Multimedia Festival 2008. This event is planned by MVROP students as a way to showcase their art while raising funds to support the multimedia programs. The festival will showcase student projects in animation, graphic design, digital photography, video production, and website design.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to experience the talent and creativity of our students, as well as witness the effect and impact of their work upon others,” said Superintendent Charles Brown. Entrants will have an opportunity to win technical, artistic, and audience choice awards with prizes yet to be determined. The festival is open to high school students in the tri-city area. Students have an opportunity to enter this festival, provided they complete their entry and submit by April 25th, 2008. Entries will be screened for appropriateness before being passed on to the judging committee.
MVROP is also seeking sponsors and the donations to be used as prizes (such as USB flash drives, DVDs, iPods, etc). Entry, sponsor and donation forms are available for download on www.multimediafest.com.
