Date: May 12, 2010 MISSION VALLEY ROP MULTIMEDIA FEST 2010 BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER FREMONT, CA-The Mission Valley ROP campus is buzzing with activity as staff and students prepare to host the Multimedia Fest 2010 which takes place this Friday, May 14th at the MVROP campus located at 5019 Stevenson Blvd., in Fremont. This festival celebrates the talent and creativity of our Arts, Media and Entertainment Technology program students in addition to serving as a fundraiser for the program. Submissions for this event include work from the following areas: animation, digital sound design, video production arts, digital graphics, and digital photography. Starting at 6pm there will be an open house for those interested in learning more about the programs available at MVROP and the gallery opening. The main program will begin at 7pm on the side lawn of the MVROP campus. Admission to this year’s family friendly festival is free. There will be live music and a projected show containing student work located on the campus side lawn where attendees will be encouraged to “bring their own blanket.” Print art will be available for purchase in addition to a raffle with over $2,000 worth of gift certificates, specialty items and services donated from a range of popular local businesses. Raffle tickets will be sold the night of the event. Refreshments will also be available for purchase provided by our Culinary Arts teachers and students. Come and join us for the fun! Event Details
About Mission Valley ROP Mission Valley ROP (MVROP) is the regional occupational program for the tri-city area. Established in 1969, MVROP has been instrumental in preparing students for successful business, medical, and technical careers. Through a partnership with Fremont, New Haven, and Newark Unified School Districts, career technical education is provided to over 5,000 students (high school and adult) each year.
