Date: October 26, 2011 MISSION VALLEY ROP WELCOMES THE COMMUNITY TO ATTEND THEIR ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE FREMONT, CA- Mission Valley ROP will be opening its campus doors and welcoming the community to attend its annual Open House tomorrow, Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. The MVROP Open House provides an excellent opportunity for parents, loved ones of current students, and those who would like to learn more about Mission Valley ROP, explore the available courses, career pathways, and state of the art building at this annual community event. Every high school campus in the Tri-City area will be represented at this informative event and all MVROP instructors will be present to answer questions from the public. In addition, the Culinary Program’s instructors and students will be hosting a delicious menu of refreshments for event attendees. At this year’s event, Mission Valley ROP will be asking for feedback from the public by participating in a short survey in regards to direct communication with students and tracking student success post graduation. This survey will also be available following the event at www.mvrop.org for a week following the MVROP Open House. Established in 1969, MVROP has been instrumental in preparing students for successful business, medical, and technical careers. Through a partnership with Fremont, New Haven, and Newark Unified School Districts, career technical education is provided to nearly 5,000 students (high school and adult) each year. Our 45,000 sq. ft. Mission Valley ROP Career Technical Training Center is located in the heart of Fremont. |
