MVROP Student Wins National Art Contest!

Each fall, Mission Valley Computer Graphics/Animation students participate in the Coca-Cola “Art of Harmony” contest. This year, 10,000 entries were submitted from all over the United States. In each of the 9 participating cities, prestigious judging panels selected 12 finalists from their group and the winners were announced at a reception for the winners and their guests.

Last year two MVROP students placed in the 12 finalists for the Greater Bay Area (Philip Vose, Washington High School, and Anthony Trevino, Irvington High School). This year, Michelle Baker, Kennedy High School, won 1st place. She received a $5,000 U.S. Savings Bond, a mahogany keepsake box with a reproduction of her masterpiece laminated on the top, and a full sized Coke machine, with her artwork on the front, will be delivered to ROP to use for 1 year.

Congratulations, Michelle!!!
