Superintendent's Message

Superintendent Hanson

Greetings, MVROP Community,

As we begin a new school year, I am grateful for our dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive community. Each of these elements creates a positive, in-demand educational experience for Career Technical Education (CTE) students. Fall brings a renewed sense of opportunity and purpose. At Mission Valley ROP, our commitment is to prepare students for success in college and career.  This is our focus and overarching objective of all our programming.

Our programs continue to evolve to meet the demands of a changing workforce, ensuring that students gain not only the technical skills they need but also the confidence, creativity, and problem-solving abilities that will serve them for a lifetime. Whether through state-of-the-art labs, industry partnerships, or hands-on learning experiences, we strive to make every MVROP program a gateway to opportunity. We want students to see their future developing during their time with our industry expert teachers. This is what we do.

For over four decades, MVROP has been proud to serve students in the Fremont, Newark, and New Haven Unified School Districts. This long-standing collaboration has created pathways for thousands of graduates to achieve their educational and career goals, and it remains the foundation of our success.

As we look ahead, I am confident in our ability to navigate challenges and embrace opportunities with resilience and innovation. Our shared vision and dedication to excellence will continue to guide us in providing outstanding educational experiences for all students.

I encourage you to explore the opportunities MVROP offers by visiting our website or contacting us at (510) 657-1865. Together, let’s make this school year one of growth, collaboration, and achievement.

Sincerely,

Thomas Hanson
