About Law Enforcement/Homeland Security
Welcome to the Law Enforcement/Homeland Security Class. Mr. Hayward is a full-time police sergeant for the City of Union City. This course is also taught by Sergeant Angela Fonseca. This course is designed to be an overview of various police-related topics to prepare each student for junior college/college law enforcement courses. Each student will receive a variety of instruction on report writing, traffic stops, handcuffing, police canines, SWAT, drugs and alcohol, gangs, and employment placement techniques. Each student will receive instruction on resumes, interviewing techniques for job placement, and mentoring.
