MVROP teachers are applying some serious outside the box thinking as they transitioned to virtual learning environments due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
One example of creative connections to valued community contacts includes MVROP Careers in Education Instructor Janay Shepherd and a special guest speaker, Gail Satake-Nakamura, M.S., M.B.A, from Ohlone College collaborating in a discussion was focused on "How to Navigate the College System".
Students engaged not only in the virtual classroom discussion but also submitted questions prior to the virtual conversation to ensure they covered all their burning questions. They did their homework and made sure to take detailed notes for this relevant discussion.
