DVA Students Finalists at 2017 SLED Shorties Film Festival

Crafting a short story that can connect with others and earn accolades is not an easy feat to accomplish. Many cinematographers and directors alike in Hollywood strive to do this everyday with  mixed results.  Two videos created by the talented DVA Program students were entered into the 2017 SLED 2017 Shorties Film Festival.

The "hey, what's that?" short film directed by Victoria McJunkin and Mason Frost shown below was named an award finalist in the Challenge "One Take" category.

MVROP Digital Video Production Arts student, Carrington Robertson also submitted his short story, "The Currents of Society," to receive great praise. In fact, he came home with the "Best Narrative" Award from the recent 2017 SLED Shorties Film Festival. This is sure to be one of many accolades Carrington will collect as he continues to build his body of work. Congratulations Carrington!
